About Me

Hi everyone, my name is Mya Bambrick and I am 12 years old. I am really passionate about wildlife and photography. I have been interested in wildlife from an early age, but for the last couple of years I have also been doing wildlife photography which I really enjoy. I started with a compact canon powershot and then got a Fujifilm Finepix for my 10th birthday. After that I was lucky enough to get a Canon 600D for my 11th birthday.

Two years ago I joined Ephotozine which is a photography website where there are lots of friendly and helpful people! I have met many of photographers in the past year which has helped me learn lots!

Some of the things I have achieved so far are:

I have come highly commended and runner-up twice in West Sussex's Nature photographer of the year, got as far as being shortlisted in the BWPA Awards and have had my photo in there book and I have come runner-up in Marwell Zoo's Competition.
